NEW DELHI: The supreme court stayed the high court decision of immediate trial in the SN College golden jubilee fund fraud case. The high court earlier decided to fast-track trial and said no further inquiry was possible in the case.SNDP general secretary Vellapally Nateshan moved the supreme court over the decision which was now being considered by the court. The apex court also ordered to initiate notice to the state government, crime branch ADGP, vigilance special cell SP, and complainant SN trust board former member P Surendra Babu.
Justice Hrishikesh Roy and Manjoy Mishra heard the case while V Giri and Nagamuthu appeared for Vellapally Nateshan. The petition will be considered after six weeks' time. Meanwhile, Adv G Prakash who appeared for Surendra Babu opposed the court's move and submitted another petition asking the court to come to a decision only after hearing fully the complainant's side.
