THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said that the state government is wasting money by paying an honorarium of Rs 1 lakh to KV Thomas, the special representative of the Kerala government in Delhi.

"There are many IAS officers who can convince the central government of the state's demands through correspondence. The state government should be using them. However, the LDF government is wasting money by squeezing the people to make the leisurely life of its dear ones happy. Negligence which led to the death of a fireman while fighting a fire in Thiruvananthapuram also came out recently. The fire force chief herself said that the building did not have a NOC," Muraleedharan said to the media.
