Flashing at girl in private bus in Kannur: Accused Nirappil Binu held

KANNUR: The police arrested the man who flashed at a woman and masturbated in a private bus at Cherupuzha in Kannur. The accused identified as Nirappil Binu of Chittarikkal Nallompuzha was taken into custody early Thursday morning. He was on the run after the incident.

The incident happened inside the bus plying on the Cherupuzha-Thaliparambu route when it was parked at the Cherupuzha bus stand. The woman sitting on the bus had the disturbing experience. He asked her when the bus would start its journey in a bid to get her look at him. He later flashed at her. He also masturbated in the bus. Though he noticed the woman capturing the visuals on her mobile, he continued his act again. He fled from the bus when the bus employees came to resume their journey.

Though the woman shared the visuals on social media, he could not be identified as he was wearing a mask. The police got his information only the other day. They said strong action will be taken against him.
