KOCHI: SFI state secretary P M Arsho has come forward with an explanation on the mark list controversy. He said that he had not written the exams and that he was not in Ernakulam district on the day the exams were held. He responded via a Facebook post.

He said that he knew about the mark list controversy very late. In his post he said that when he was about to reveal the truth, the lie had spread around the world. The mark list circulating on social media presently is related to the regular exams of the students of batch 2021. He said that he is not one who should have appeared for that exam.

Meantime, CPM state secretary M V Govindan said the allegations against Arsho are a conspiracy and a comprehensive probe is needed. He also added that the party will not take any action to protect anyone in the complaint against Vidya Vijayan, who forged an experience certificate.
