THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran came forward reacting on the Maharajas mark list and forging certificate controversies. Kanam said in the allegations leveled against SFI, coups in universities were always there and this is not the first incident. Recalling that a KSU leader was caught for copying in 1970s, Kanam opined that if it was KSU then, it is SFI today. Kanam said a decision should be taken by the autonomous colleges.

Kanam said the government is not run by just one person and there is no wrestler to defend the chief minister. Kanam said what senior CPI leader C Divakaran said about the solar strike in his autobiography was only a marketing ploy. There was no political agreement to settle the solar strike. Divakaran in his autobiography ‘Kanal Vazhikaliloode, mentioned that the LDF had settled the strike at the Secretariat over the agreement made by the Left Front with the Oommen Chandy government.
