Higher Education Minister influencing probe in mark list controversy, SFI state secretary made fake certificate and handed it over to Vidya: VD Satheesan

MALAPPURAM: Opposition leader VD Satheesan on Friday alleged that the Higher Education minister is influencing the investigation in the mark list controversy against SFI state secretary PM Arsho. He also alleged that the SFI state secretary was the one who made a fake certificate and handed it over to SFI woman leader K Vidya. The opposition leader was speaking to the media in Malappuram.

"The higher education minister came out in defense of the SFI state secretary while the investigation was going on. On what basis is the minister acquitting him? The minister is influencing the investigation. Once the NIC report comes, the results are published on the website of Maharaja's College only after it is checked by the teachers. The principal was forced to change his opinion in the afternoon after the SFI threatened him," Satheesan said.

"SFI leaders who did not have even have 2 percent attendance were allowed to appear for exams. The SFI state secretary was the one who made a fake certificate and handed it over to the SFI woman leader. It was the Vice Chancellor of Kalady University who sabotaged the SC/ST cell's report that reservation was sabotaged in Ph.D. admission. The credibility of the higher education sector has been destroyed for SFI," Satheesan added.
