Govt to give Rs 2 lakh from CM’s relief fund to mother of woman who died of rabies in Kozhikode, cabinet decisions

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The cabinet meet that convened here Wednesday decided to give Rs 2 lakh from the chief minister's relief fund to Kunjulakshmi, mother of Sheeba Kumari, a resident of Cheruvannur in Kozhikode, who died of rabies.

A decision has been taken to create new teaching posts in four government law colleges. 26 posts will be created, three in Thiruvananthapuram, seven in Ernakulam, nine in Thrissur and seven in Kozhikode.

Approval for construction of Revenue Bhavan
The government decided to give nod for the construction of revenue bhavan and for installing Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Knowledge Centre and Space Museum. The surplus land of Kowdiar Palace in Peroorkada Village in, Thiruvananthapuram, acquired will be used. 100 cents of land will be used for the construction of revenue bhavan. A 30-year lease was also granted with conditions for setting up Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Knowledge Center and Space Museum in 130 cents of land.

Validated
Validating the action issued by extending the validity of the order dated May 28, 2022 by one year containing guidelines and procedures for execution of wild pigs causing damage to agriculture, life and property, by one year.
