50-year-old man sacrifices goat for fulfilling wish; dies when eye in same goat curry gets stuck in his throat

SURAJPUR (CHHATTISGARH): Man who sacrificed a goat as an offering for the fulfillment of his wish, met a tragic end when the eye of the same goat got stuck in his throat. Bagar Sai, a fifty-year-old man from Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh, is the one who died this way. On Sunday, Bagar Sai and other local people sacrificed a goat at a temple in the village of Madanpur in exchange for fulfilling a wish. The ceremony was done after pujas.

The sacrificed goat was then cooked and served there itself. Bagar Sai chose to eat the eye of the goat from the curry but unfortunately, the eye got stuck in his throat. He was rushed to the nearest district hospital but could not be saved.
