19-year-old Naval sailor found dead onboard INS Vikrant

KOCHI: A 19-year-old navy sailor was found hanging inside INS Vikrant on Thursday morning. Bihar Muzaffarpur native Susanthkumar is the deceased. Ernakulam Town South Police have registered a case of unnatural death.

It was in the early hours of Thursday morning that the body was found hanging onboard the ship. According to Navy officials, the death is assumed to be a case of suicide. The Navy will start its official investigation soon.
