THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K Muraleedharan MP reacted to IG Laxman's allegations against the office of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. He said that IG Laxman's disclosure is the first sign of the chief minister's bad times. This is a sign of the backlash of the chief minister and ministers escaping after arraigning the officials.
He pointed out that if Sivasankar stays in jail for two more months, more than this will be exposed. The IG leveled the serious allegation in the plea filed in the high court for implicating him as an accused in the financial fraud case related to Monson Mavunkal. It was alleged in the plea that there is an extra ordinary constitutional authority functioning in the office of the chief minister.
‘Now there is no doubt that there is a constitutional authority in that office that controls the chief minister. His secretary without the knowledge of the chief minster did many things sitting in that post. If he is not able to figure it out, is he fit for that post. This is a question I have asked before. Now an IG has revealed about that authority in the court. Sivasankar will also reveal many things very soon. Many details in the gold smuggling case will surface then. Anyway, the first shot has been fired. Many more shots are there to be fired, said Muraleedharan.
