Boy on scooter with mother dies in accident

SEETHATHOD: A UKG student died after being hit by a car while going to school with his mother on a scooter. The deceased has been identified as Kaushik S Nair (5), the youngest son of Aswathy and Satheesh, of Kochukoyikkal in Seethathod. The accident took place near Seethathod Kakkad power station around 9 am on Monday. Kaushik was traveling from the front with his brother Karthik on a scooter driven by Ashwathy. The scooter lost control and hit the car in front. Kaushik, who was seriously injured by the scooter's handle on his chest, was taken to a private hospital in Pathanamthitta but could not be saved. No one else was injured in the accident. He is a student of Sreevidyadhiraja English Medium School in Seethathod. Funeral will be held later.
