Two days' old dead body of six-month-old baby found near riverside swamp, injury marks on body

PATHANAMTHITTA: Two days' old dead body of a six-month-old baby was found in a riverside swamp. The body was found near Thiruvalla Pulikkeezhu Church. The dead body was found by the locals following a foul smell.

There are also marks on the legs similar to dog bites. The dead body was lying face down on the marshy ground. A bag was also found nearby and the body was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem. The police have started an investigation into the incident
