THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Tamil Nadu Forest Department has stated that Arikomban, the wild elephant, who was translocated from Chinnakkanal, is healthy. The forest department, which said that Arikomban is currently with a herd of elephants, also released a new picture of the wild elephant. Arikomban, which was earlier captured from Cumbum in Theni district, was released into the Tiger Sanctuary in Tirunelveli. The forest department released the picture of the elephant at a time when some people alleged that Arikomban is currently moving alone.

According to the forest department, the elephant is currently in the Upper Kodayar region. Arikomban, which is now healthy, is moving energetically. The forest department is recording the direction of the elephant's movement by checking the signal from the radio collar.
