Attempted to sexually harass flight attendant, flashed at others; 30-year-old man arrested

MUMBAI: A youth has been arrested for attempting to sexually abuse a flight attendant on a flight. The incident took place on a Vistara flight travelling from Muscat to Dhaka via Mumbai. The arrested person has been identified as Bangladesh native Mohammed Dulal (30). The incident took place before the flight landed in Mumbai.

According to reports, the accused tried to hug and kiss the flight attendant. "Mohammed Dulal was travelling from Muscat to Dhaka. 30 minutes before the scheduled landing of the flight in Mumbai, Dulal jumped across from his seat and reached out to hug the flight attendant. He also attempted to kiss her. He even flashed at other crew members when they tried to restrain him. He did not heed the warning given by the captain of the plane," authorities said.

The accused was handed over to the security personnel after the flight landed in Mumbai. The security personnel then took Dulal to Sahar police station. Police have registered a case against him on the complaint of the flight attendant.
