THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSRTC has revised the age limit for availing students concession in the state. It has been decided to raise the age limit to 27 years. The current age limit is 25 years. The age limit for concession to students in KSRTC was reduced to Rs 25 last year. The student organizations later approached the Transport Minister pointing out the difficulties caused by this.

Last year, CMD Biju Prabhakar stated in his order that the age limit was reduced to 25 due to the financial difficulties faced by KSRTC. However, authorities have now decided to raise the age limit considering the difficulties faced by the students. The Transport Minister said that the action was taken on account of the demands put forward by the student organizations.
