THIRUVANANTHAPRAM: The second Vande Bharat train for Kerala may start service from September 24th. The good news comes amid rumors that an attempt is being made to take the second Vande Bharat train sanctioned for the state to Goa. According to reports, starting on Sunday, the train will operate six times per week.
The new Vande Bharat service will run on the route from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram. The route has been fixed via Alappuzha. The time schedule of the train is also ready. The service will start from Kasaragod at 7 a.m. and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 3.05 a.m. The train, which will depart from Thiruvananthapuram at 4.05 p.m., will reach Karsargod at 11.55 p.m. Southern Railway will provide an orange-colored train with new changes for Kerala. Earlier there were reports that the train would be handed over to Kerala during Onam.
