Jumped out of moving car to save herself; Instagram influencer faces assault attempt during Uber ride; video

JAIPUR: Complaint that an Uber driver tried to molest a passenger during the ride. The shocking incident has happened in Rajasthan. Instagram influencer Manali Gupta is the person who had to face misbehaviour from an Uber driver.

The assaulter is the driver of the taxi booked by Manali Gupta who was going to pick up her daughter from school. Manali shared a video on Instagram explaining what happened. While talking on the phone in the car, the Uber driver tried to snatch her phone. When Manali resisted this, the driver yelled abusive words at her.

As the situation worsened, Manali asked the driver to stop the car but he was unwilling to do so. Manali says in the video that she escaped by jumping out of the moving car. She said on social media that the driver's name is Shyam Sundar, along with other information including the vehicle registration number.

The video has already been viewed by more than one lakh people. Many people asked Uber to take strong action against the driver. Manali's Instagram account @littleshasisters has more than 11000 followers.
