Mohanlal extends congratulations to Kerala Government; CM expresses gratitude

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Mohanlal congratulated the Kerala government on 'Keralapiravi'. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan thanked the actor for his support.

Mohanlal said that he takes pride in two aspects of being a Malayali. No matter where you go in the world, Kerala is renowned for its education and healthcare. Malayalis hold significant positions globally. I am proud to work in Malayalam cinema where filmmakers from other languages look up to us. Kerala has given birth to some of the finest writers, directors, actors and technologists in history. I am proud to be a Malayali than just being born in Kerala. Best wishes to the Government of Kerala. In response, Pinarayi Vijayan extended his greetings to Mohanlal in a Facebook post.

In Thiruvananthapuram, a week-long celebration and public events are scheduled from November 1. Kerala aims to showcase the accomplishments of our society to the world and discuss plans for a prosperous 'New Kerala'.
