Mammootty honoured in Australian parliament

CANBERRA: In a special ceremony, Australian Parliament honoured Megastar Mammootty. They released 10,000 personalized stamps featuring Mammootty's face in collaboration with the Australia-India Business Council. This event was organized by the "Friends of India" in the National Parliament.

The representative of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Chairman of Parliamentary Friends of India, Dr Andrew Charten MP handed over these stamps to the Indian High Commissioner Manpreet Vora. Dr Andrew Chartan read a message from the Prime Minister emphasizing that Mammootty is considered a symbol of Indian culture. Honouring Mammootty is like honouring the rich culture of India.

These stamps issued by the Australian Post Department have been available in the market since yesterday. In the coming months, newspapers and mail deliveries will include these special Mammootty stamps.
