Aamir Khan relocates to Chennai; takes short break from movies

NEW DELHI: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has decided to temporarily shift base to Chennai from his Mumbai residence. The decision was taken after considering the ailing health of Khan’s mother Zeenat Hussain, who is currently undergoing treatment in Tamil Nadu’s capital city. It is proposed that Aamir Khan will be in Chennai for the next two months.

According to reports, Aamir has booked a room in a hotel adjacent to the hospital where his mother is being treated. Aamir shares a great bond with his mother and has decided to be with her during this crucial stage. Zeenat Hussain suffered a major heart attack in October 2022.

At the same time, the actor also shared the details of the new movie with the media. Aamir Khan will produce and play the lead role in the new film 'Sitare Zameen Par'. Contrary to the 2007 released ‘Taare Zameen Par’ the new movie will be a ‘laugh riot’ according to the actor.

However, for now, the actor has decided to take a small hiatus from all of his film commitments to be with his mother.
