Acrobatics in front of bus; MVD to suspend Kozhikode youth's license

KOZHIKODE: In yet another clear violation of basic traffic norms, a scooter rider flaunted his acrobatic skills in front of a private bus and obstructed traffic for a long time. The incident happened in the Kozhikode Meenchantha area. Farhan, a resident of Kallai was identified as the scooter rider. Police have registered a case against him. According to reports, Farhan drove the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

He has been charged with sections including dangerous driving and drunken driving. The motor vehicle department said that Farhan's license will be suspended.

It was just the last day that some drunken youngsters blocked a KSRTC vehicle and dragged the driver of the bus creating ruckus on road. As it was nighttime, the youths weren’t identified, and the case was registered as anonymous. However, their vehicle (KL-01-S-3510 Toyota Qualis car) was taken into custody. As of now, the youths are on the run. The incident happened at Keshavadasapuram in the capital city. The video of the scuffle also went viral across the internet. The bus was coming from Mallappally to Thiruvananthapuram via Pathanamthitta.
