Young woman's charred body found on Kollam roadside

KUNDARA: The charred dead body of a 23-year-old woman was found on Perayam roadside on Friday. Santa (Surya) a native of Padappakara Fathima Junction is the deceased. On Friday, a commuter saw the dead body lying on the Perayam Pottimuku Road and he immediately informed the police.

The body was badly burnt on the face and hands. A bag, an empty bottle of thinner and a matchbox were found from the nearby premise. The preliminary conclusion has pointed to suicide. Surya after completing her general nursing course was looking forward to higher studies. Police have started an investigation into the case.
