KOZHIKODE: “Don't make our family a laughing stock in front of society. The government has provided sufficient help for Arjun’s wife and child to lead a modest life. As of now, the family faces no financial difficulties.” said Jithin, Arjun’s brother-in-law.
On Wednesday, Arjun’s family levelled serious allegations against Manaf, the caretaker of Arjun's truck.
Jithin:
“Manaf is exploiting our family’s grief and is using it as a tool for marketing. Manaf's younger brother Mubeen is the owner of the lorry. Many are marketing Arjun’s demise for their gain. Fundraising is being organized from all quarters of Kerala without the family's knowledge. The family is now under brutal cyber-attack. We do not need any money. There are also some fake narratives about Arjun’s Rs 75,000 salary.
Manaf's statement that he would raise Arjun's son as his fourth son was unwarranted. Manaf and Eshwar Malpe duped officials in Shirur by doing drama, only to increase subscribers for their YouTube channel.
Karnataka SP and MLA had asked to file a complaint against Manaf. But lorry owner Mubeen was sincere in his words and the care given to the family. Considering him, we are not filing a police complaint.
We are thankful to everyone who supported us.”
