Yet another deepfake video of Rashmika Mandanna goes viral

HYDERABAD: The controversy surrounding the circulation of a deepfake video in the name of actress Rashmika Mandanna is yet to die down. The Delhi police have registered an FIR against unidentified individuals in the incident. Meanwhile, yet another fake video of the actress has surfaced online. The girl who appears in the video looks like Rashmika in one glance. She is seen wearing a black dress. The video has Rashmika's face morphed into another girl's face. The video was posted on Rashmika's fan page named 'Crush.mika.'

The deepfake video circulated in the name of Rashmika some days ago had sparked a huge controversy. The fake viral video showed the actress entering an elevator dressed in a black body-hugging yoga suit and smiling for the camera. The original video features social media influencer Zara Patel whose face was morphed into Rashmika’s. Several people, including Amitabh Bachchan, had come out expressing concern about such videos. Following this, Union IT Minister Rajeev Chandrashekhar said that action would be taken against those who were behind the video.
