Only vegetarian food will be served at Kerala school arts festival this year; restriction for media

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Education Minister V Sivankutty said that only vegetarian food will be served at the state school arts festival this year. The minister clarified that there needs to be no doubt in this regard. The minister said that this decision was taken in the context of controversy that broke out regarding the food menu at the previous arts festival. The minister announced the decision at the meeting of the organizing committee.

The minister also said that restrictions will be imposed on the media. "Restrictions will be imposed on media. Accredited journalists will be given a special pass. Media personnel will not have access to the green rooms. The golden cup of the arts festival will be brought from Kozhikode to Kollam in a festive manner," the minister said.
