Kalamassery blast: One more person dies

KOCHI: A youth undergoing treatment after suffering burns in the Kalamassery blast died on Thursday. With this, the death toll has increased to 6. The deceased is Praveen Pradeep (26), the son of Malayattoor native Pradeep.

The blast also claimed the lives of Praveen's sister Libina and mother Reena. Reena passed away last Saturday, while Libina passed away the day of the event. Rahul, Pradeep's other son, suffered burns in the explosion. He's not in any danger. Eleven people who were hurt in the explosion are receiving medical attention. Six of them are in the ICU.
