NEW DELHI: An 18-year-old boy was stabbed to death after an argument over a theft. The CCTV visual has surfaced of the 16-year-old accused dancing near the body after stabbing him repeatedly in the neck. The murder happened in North East Delhi following a theft of Rs 350.
The boy was stabbed more than 60 times. The police said a theft attempt led to the murder. When he tried to stop him from stealing the money, the accused first stabbed him in the neck and then attacked him with a knife he was carrying. The police have arrested him.
The police confirmed that there is no previous relationship between the accused and the victim. After stabbing him to death, the accused dragged the body to a lane and repeatedly kicked him on the head. After this he danced near the body.
The police got the information about the murder on Tuesday at 11 pm. Deputy Commissioner Joy Tirkey informed that the body of the boy lying on the road near Janata Mazdoor Colony was examined and later the CCTV visuals.
