KPCC's Palestine solidarity march turns into a show of strength

palestine-rally

KOZHIKODE: With Lok Sabha elections around the corner, the Congress conducted Palestine Solidarity rally turned out to be a show of strength and gave the required elixir for the party. Congress demonstrated its strength on the shores of Kozhikode by lining up tens of thousands including workers from the Muslim League, Samastha and many other Muslim-affiliated organizations.

AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal responded to the allegations levelled by the CPM and the left party’s failed attempt to coax the Muslim league. Venugopal lambasted the CPM for creating a wedge and compared the party to a cunning fox who sheds fake tears to lure the prey. Muslim League State President Panakkad Sadiqali Shihab Thangal and senior leader P K Kunhalikutty reiterated their strong support for the congress party. Kunhalikutty said that his life is devoted to the Congress party and he also took a jibe at CPM.

Samastha President Sayed Jifri Muthukkoya Thangal, who came to the rally, ended his speech by calling on Congress to prepare for the elections. He praised the congress for getting up from the long slumber and conducting such a massive solidarity rally.
