Jumped in front of vehicles and got thrashed for people; Suresh Gopi in support of Youth Congress

PALAKKAD: Actor and BJP leader Suresh Gopi reacted to the incident of Youth Congress activists waving black flag at the Chief Minister. Suresh Gopi said that the opposition is the voice of the people and Youth Congress workers waved a black flag against the Chief Minister for the sake of the people.

His response was during a program held in Palakkad. The Youth Congress took a beating and jumped in front of vehicles for the people. Suresh Gopi also stated that they should not be kept at a distance just because they are Youth Congress. He said that whichever party is the opposition, they should be the voice of the people.

He also criticized the state government. This money should have been used to give pensions to the people. If so, at least their prayers would have been there. Suresh Gopi said that things are being done in a wasteful manner to make the party and the individuals in the party fat.

"Whichever party the opposition is, people should support them. They got thrashed and jumped in front of vehicles for you. They got beaten up and are lying in hospitals for the people. No one will tell you to keep your distance from them just because they are youth congress members. If someone says that, it will be from them that I will keep my distance. The time has come for popular protests to gain strength.' Suresh Gopi added.
