Tried to open emergency door to urinate; first flight from Kochi becomes headache for youth

emergency

NEDUMBASSERY: A police case was filed against two youths who came to Kochi from Bengaluru for personal purposes. They had decided to return by plane but their lack of experience led to the journey getting cancelled. The flight they were supposed to be traveling in was delayed by more than an hour, causing distress to other passengers as well.

It was the first flight of Ramoji Korayil and Ramesh Kumar, natives of Bengaluru, that became a bad experience for both of them. Both of them had booked tickets to travel by Alliance flight from Kochi to Bengaluru at 1 am yesterday. After completing all the checks at the airport, both of them boarded the plane along with other passengers and took their seats. As the plane was moving down the runway for take-off, one man had to pass his urine.

Since it was his first flight, he went to the front with his friend and tried to open the emergency door thinking it was a toilet. The crew of the plane caught sight of this, took them off the plane, and handed them over to the CISF. When they were taken to the Nedumbassery police station and questioned in detail, it became clear that it was a mistake since it was their first flight. Nedumbassery CI Basil Thomas said that a case was filed against both of them for causing trouble to passengers and they were released on bail yesterday afternoon.
