Congress, league leaders in Nava Kerala Sadas again; Panakkad Thangal’s son-in-law attends event in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: The Congress and League leaders attended the Nava Kerala Sadas again boycotting the call of the UDF that no leader should participate in it. Panakkad Hyderali Thangal’s son-in-law Haseeb Saqaf attended the event at Tirur in Malappuram. Haseeb attended the morning meeting organized as part of it. Apart from Haseeb, Congress leader and Thirunavaya former block president C Moideen also attended the meet. Both of them spoke at the meeting. However, Haseeb is not a Muslim League activist.


The League and Congress leaders had attended the Nava Kerala Sadas yesterday also. President of Churam Preservation Committee and President of Kattipara Payona Ward Muslim League Committee V K Moidu Muttai, former president of Koduvalli Grama Panchayat and former president of Koduvalli Mandalam Congress Makkat Madhavan Namboothiri, chairman of Kundamangalam Block Panchayat Development Affairs Standing Committee and Congress leader N A Aboobacker participated in the morning meet yesterday at Ambalakandi Snehatheeram Auditorium in Omasseri Puthur.


The congress had suspended Aboobacker, who participated in the Nava Kerala meeting. The party's state committee also informed that U K Hussain and Moidu Muttai have also been suspended from the league pending investigation.
