Main reason for abducting child was unexpected change seen in Padma Kumar’s friends, all vicious things advised by wife 

KOLLAM: Padma Kumar, the main accused who abducted the child from Oyoor, suffered a huge loss in his real estate business after Covid. His debt rose to Rs 5 five crore. He had mortgaged his assets in many places and due to that he was not able to sell anything. His biryani business and fish stall that started in the meantime did not flourish. He wanted Rs 10 lakh urgently after the bank warned that they would proceed with foreclosure proceedings following the failure of the loan repayments. He had asked many people for this amount, but no one willing to pay him that much amount.

Many of the acquaintances of Padma Kumar and his family had become rich. He thought that it was through wrong means. The kidnapping plan was activated then from the thought why not them too.

The investigation team conclude that Anitha Kumari, wife of Padma Kumar, was the master brain of the whole act. The investigation team believe that all vicious things were advised by her when she started planning to organize the money a year ago.
