Youth injured after colliding with pilot vehicle of Navakerala bus; incident at Thrissur

THRISSUR: A man was injured in a collision with the Chief Minister's pilot vehicle. The biker got injured when a vehicle accompanying the Navakerala bus carrying Chief Ministers and Ministers collided with him. The incident happened today afternoon.

The accident took place when the group of ministers was returning from the Navakerala Sadas in Chelakkara, Thrissur. Abdul Rasheed, a native of Cheruthuruthi Athikkaparambu, was injured in the accident. After the pilot vehicle hit the bike, the young man fell down after proceeding some distance. Abdul Rasheed has been admitted to a hospital. It is reported that his injury is not serious.

Navakerala Sadas will be held in Thrissur from today to December 7. The Chief Minister and Ministers are touring all the 13 constituencies of the district. They will tour four constituencies in the first three days and one constituency on December 7.

The Chief Minister and Ministers will interact with the people in 15 programs including two morning meetings centered on Athani and Thrissur. Sadas will be held in Manalur, Nattika, Ollur, Thrissur, Kodungallur, Kaipamangalam, Irinjalakuda and Puthukkad constituencies from tomorrow. The concluding program has been organized in Chalakudy constituency at 11 am on the 7th.
