NEW DELHI: It has been hinted that apart from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, no other Chief Minister in the country has received an invitation to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
According to sources, no ministers from the Union cabinet or state cabinets have been invited to the consecration ceremony so far. Family members of Dalit leaders BR Ambedkar, Jagjivan Ram and Kanshi Ram, who played a major role in the country's progress, have been specially invited to attend the function. The family members of the Karsevaks who died during the Ram Janmabhoomi struggle will also participate in the consecration ceremony.
Meanwhile, a large number of VIPs and celebrities have been invited to attend the consecration ceremony that will take place in Ayodhya on January 22. Retired Supreme Court Judges, retired senior officers from the Army, Navy, Air Force etc. and senior IPS officers have also been invited to the ceremony.
At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin fasting from today for the upcoming 11 days ahead of the Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. He noted on his X page that he would observe a special fast of 11 days. PM Modi has also shared an audio recording with it.
