20-year-old dance teacher committed suicide in Thiruvananthapuram; Police starts investigation

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A dance teacher was found hanging inside her house. Sharanya (20), daughter of Sunil Kumar-Sindhu couple, died at SS Bhavan, Nanthaivanam, Nagarur. Saranya is a teacher at 'Navarasa' Natyakalakshehtra, Nanthaivanam. Police said the cause of death was not clear.

The incident took place last night at around eleven o'clock. The parents had gone to work at the thatcher shop in Chemmarathumukku. Sharanya and her brother's wife were in the house. Meanwhile, Sharanya went to bed at eleven at night and hanged herself in her room. She was rushed to a nearby private hospital but died.

Sharanya's body has been shifted to the Medical College Hospital. It will be released to relatives after post-mortem. The police are going to check the calls received on Saranya's phone before she committed suicide.
