Iran attacks terrorist camps in Pakistan, two dead

attack

KARACHI: Two children were killed in a missile attack by Iran in the southwestern province of Balochistan in Pakistan on Tuesday. Three people were seriously injured. The Iranian military has stated that the attack targeted two bases linked to the terrorist organization Jaish al-Adal. The military centres said that the attack was to neutralize the threat to the country. After Iraq and Syria, Pakistan is the third country to be attacked by Iran.

Meanwhile, Pakistan strongly condemned the attack and said there will be serious consequences for attacking the country. But it is not clear whether Pakistan will come up with a military response or a diplomatic move. Iran has earlier attacked the headquarters of the Israeli spy agency Mossad in Iraq and ISIS centers in northern Syria.

Jaish al-Adl

Jaish al-Adl is a terrorist group that regularly attacks soldiers in Iran. They claim that their aim is the complete liberation of Balochistan and its people. Salahuddin Farooqi is the current head of the outfit. His brother Amir Narui was killed by the Taliban in Afghanistan. Jaish al-Adl has links with the Iranian-Baloch Sunni militant group Ansar al-Furqan.

The group was founded in 2012 by members of Jundallah, a Sunni militant group. Jaish al-Adl launched its first attack in October 2013.
