KARACHI: Pakistan has claimed that it retaliated against Iran, which violated its airspace and carried out attacks in Balochistan. According to Pakistani sources, it has attacked multiple places in Iran's territory, but Iran has not yet responded to it. The retaliation came a day after Iran attacked Pakistan's Balochistan.
Two children were killed and three women were injured in Iran's missile attack on terrorist centers in Balochistan province. The attack on the bases of the Iranian terrorist group Jaish al-Adl has worsened diplomatic relations between the two countries. Pakistan recalled its ambassador to Iran and asked the Iranian ambassador, who went to the country, not to return. Pakistan's foreign ministry also conveyed its strong protest to Iran.

Jaish al-Adl, an indigenous Sunni Muslim militant group advocating for an independent Balochistan, has carried out several attacks in Iran and Pakistan. Iran's attack using six drones and rockerts targeting terrorist centres of Jaish al-Adl took place around midnight on Tuesday in Panchgud in Balochistan. A mosque was also destroyed in the attack.
During the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict, Iran invaded Pakistan after its attacks in Syria and Iraq in support of the Palestinians. Iran says it is retaliation for attacks on its security personnel. Iran had warned Pakistan to take strict action against Jaish al-Adlin.
Pakistan's caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakkar and Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian were meeting in Switzerland during the World Economic Summit and the attack occurred while the two countries' navies were conducting joint military exercises in the Persian Gulf. Conflict is rife.
