BHOPAL: A cheetah in the Kuno National Park in Namibia has given birth to three cubs. It was Union Minister Bhupender Yadav who shared this news through social media.

"Kuno's new cubs! Namibian Cheetah named Jwala has given birth to three cubs. This comes just weeks after Namibian Cheetah Aasha gave birth to her cubs. Congratulations to all wildlife frontline warriors and wildlife lovers across the country. May Bharat's wildlife thrive...," Yadav said in a post on 'X'.

The minister also shared a video of the three cubs with the cheetah. Namibian cheetah Asha had given birth a few days ago. Asha gave birth to three cubs. Another cheetah had also given birth earlier.

Earlier on January 16, in a setback to 'Project Cheetah', a Namibian cheetah named Shaurya passed away at the Kuno National Park. Officials said the cause of the cheetah's death would be known only after the post-mortem report came out.
