BHUBANESWAR: After leading by a goal in the first half, Kerala Blasters lost to hosts Odisha FC following two quick goals by Roy Krishna in the second half.
Dimitrios Diamantakos scored the opener in the 11th minute to give the visitors the lead. Odisha, who constantly attacked the Kerala goal, found the target in the second half, thanks to Roy Krishna's strikes in the 53rd and 57th minute.
With today's defeat, Kerala Blasters have dropped one place in the points table and slipped to the third position. After completing 13 matches, the team has accumulated 26 points with eight wins, two draws and three losses.
With today's win, Odisha climbed to the second position with 27 points from 13 matches. Goa is at the top of the points table with 27 points unbeaten from 11 matches. Kerala's next match is against Punjab FC in Kochi on February 12.
