THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Finance Minister KN Balagopal has allocated ten crore rupees in the 2024 budget for the Keraleeyam program. During his budget speech, the Finance Minister revealed that Rs 10 lakh has been set aside for those creating studies and features highlighting Kerala's achievements.
'Keraleeyam scheduled annually on Kerala Piravi aims to celebrate the positive aspects of the state. It serves as a platform to honestly showcase Kerala's accomplishments and address areas for improvement. Industrial and commercial exhibitions, resembling the Delhi International Trade Fair, will be a part of Keraleeyam. 10 crores are earmarked for next year's Keralayam programme. Ten lakh rupees are being allocated for giving incentives to those who make studies, features and videos about the achievements and good things of Kerala,' said the Finance Minister.
It cannot be assumed that the development potential can be utilized after the crises and challenges in the state are overcome. Therefore, with the help of the private sector, various development models need to be created, said KN Balagopal.
