Woman, two men arrested while attempting to smuggle ganja and liquor

WAYANAD: A woman and two men were nabbed for allegedly smuggling Indian-made foreign liquor and ganja in Wayanad. The arrested have been identified as KA Suhail (34) of Thalikulam's Koparambu and CS Anagh Krishna (27) of Chembiparambu in Kanjani, and CS Shikha (39) of Chembiparambu in Kanjani.

They were caught on February 3 near the police check post in Muthanga's Thakarapadi. Police seized 97.25 grams of ganja and five bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor from the gang. The car they were traveling in has also been taken into police custody. The accused were produced in court and remanded.
