Fake drug case; Phone used to trap Sheela Sunny came from Britain

g

THRISSUR: The Excise Crime Branch has found that Britain was the source of the internet phone call to trap Chalakkudy beauty parlor owner Sheela Sunny in the fake LSD stamp case. A detailed investigation will be conducted in this regard. According to the investigators, it has been hinted that Sheela's close relative Narayanadas, a native of Tripunithura and a resident of Bengaluru, is behind the internet call.

The connection to Narayana Das in the case came to light with the inquiry into the large amount of money received in the woman's account. It was already suspected that the young woman, who is a student in Bengaluru, was behind the entrapment of Sheela. Then their bank account was checked. It is reported that the two lived together in Bengaluru. Narayana Das had transferred the amount to the woman's account several times.

Meanwhile, a notice was issued to Narayana Das to appear at the Ernakulam Excise Office today. But it is reported that he is trying for anticipatory bail in the High Court. Meanwhile, the Excise Crime Branch says that it is not aware of the anticipatory bail application. Action will be taken to arrest Narayana Das whether he is present or not.

High Court will consider the petition filed by Narayana Das, who alleged that he was being tortured over the incident on Friday. Excise had opposed Narayana Das' request for an extension of two weeks when it was considered on Tuesday. Last February, Sheela was arrested for keeping LSD stamp in her bag and scooter. He was then imprisoned for 72 days. She was released from prison after the stamp was found to be fake in a chemical test.
