Sabarimala Nada to be opened today; virtual queue booking mandatory; puja schedule

PATHANAMTHITTA: Sabarimala Nada will be opened today at 5 PM for Kumbha Masam Puja. Melshanthi VN Mahesh Namboothiri will open the Nada and light the lamps at sreelakam under the leadership of Tantri Kandararu Mahesh Mohanaru.
Then he will climb down the Pathinettam Padi and lit fire in the homa kunda in the inner courtyard. Only after this, the devotees are allowed to climb the Pathinettam Padi. There will be no special pujas today. The palliyunarthal will happen at 4:30 am tomorrow. Nirmalya darshan and abhisheka at 5 am. Followed by Ganapathi homam in the east mandapam. Neyyabhishekam from 5:30am to 7am and 9am to 11am. Usha puja at 7:30 followed by Udayastamaya 25 Kalasham, Kalabhabhishekam and Ucha puja . Nada will be closed at 1 pm and opened at 5 pm, Deeparadhana at 6:30 pm, Padi puja, Pushpabhishekam and Athazha puja at 6:45 pm. Nada will close at 10 pm. After completing the Kumbha Masam pujas, the nada will close on the 18th at 10 pm. Virtual queue booking is mandatory for devotees. Spot booking can be done at Pampa.
