Elephant runs amok at temple in Malappuram, one sustains injuries

MALAPPURAM: An elephant ran amok during an offering at Changaramkulam Cheruvalloor last night. One person was injured after falling from the elephant. The elephant which ran amok is Pullat Karnan. The elephant was chained after an hour.

The elephant ran amok when decorations from various parts were coming as part of the offering. It ran creating a tense situation. After a great effort, the mahouts brought the elephant under control.
