KOZHIKODE: A KSRTC employee has been found dead in a lodge in Kozhikode. The deceased has been identified as Kozhikode Narayamkulam native Aneesh (38). He was a KSRTC bus conductor.

Aneesh had checked into a room in a private lodge in Kozhikode yesterday afternoon. His relatives filed a missing complaint at Koorachundu police station this morning. Aneesh was found dead in the lodge during the investigation.

According to Aneesh's relatives, Aneesh was suffering from severe mental distress after getting transferred to Kasargod. The preliminary conclusion is that this led to suicide. The police reached the spot and started the inquest proceedings.

Last week, a KSRTC conductor and his wife were found dead mysteriously in two separate places. The incident happened in the Kollam Avaneeswaram region. Vijeesh, a conductor at the Punalur depot, and his wife Raji are the deceased. According to preliminary police findings, it is doubted that both might have consumed poison to end their life.
