Kamal Nath's son Nakul deletes congress from X bio, will reach Delhi for crucial meeting

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh politics is quietly emulating the rigmarole that struck Bihar in the past month. With just months away from the Lok Sabha elections, it is drama all over in Madhya Pradesh. BJP president VD Sharma just days back gave a hint about more congress leaders being unhappy with the current leadership.

Just one day after Sharma’s hint, news appeared about former Chief Minister Kamal Nath's son Nakul Kamal Nath joining BJP. Nakul has already removed Congress from his bio on all social media platforms. National media reports that Kamal Nath may also follow in his son’s footsteps.

Kamal Nath was incensed after the party ignored him and took no suggestions before nominating Congress leader Ashok Singh for the Rajya Sabha. When asked about the current political development in Madhya Pradesh, senior leader Digvijaya Singh said that Nath would never switch to BJP.

“Last night I spoke to Kamal Nath. He is in Chhindawara. Kamal Nath is a leader who started his political career with the Nehru-Gandhi family. "Never expect him to leave the family of Sonia Gandhi and Indira Gandhi," said Digvijaya Singh.

According to BJP leader V D Sharma, troubles started inside the Madhya Pradesh Congress camp after the leadership denied the invitation to the Ram temple ceremony. Sharma said Kamal Nath would be most welcome to BJP, while Congress is hopeful of Kamal Nath ignoring all the lucrative offers from the saffron party.
