EP Jayarajan alleges personal vendetta and BJP conspiracy in recent controversy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LDF convener EP Jayarajan stated that what happened against him felt like a personal attack. He questioned how the media could report such news and accused them of not fulfilling their primary function or conducting proper research.

He alleged that the timing of these allegations, just before the elections was planned. He claimed that some anti-left media outlets and politicians like K Sudhakaran and Shobha Surendran were involved in a deliberate scheme against him. He denied any connection with Shobha Surendran and criticized the media for giving credibility to baseless accusations.

He urged for verification of claims before publishing them and criticized the media for not investigating allegations made by Sudhakaran. He emphasized his involvement in political activities and criticized the media for promoting negative narratives that could harm politics.
