ALAPPUZHA: Opposition leader VD Satheesan has reacted to KPCC president K Sudhakaran's use of profane words against him for being late to the press conference. VD Satheesan said that K Sudhakaran said it innocently. The Opposition Leader said that Sudhakaran has the right to say that.
A press conference was arranged in Alappuzha as part of the Samaragni rally of the Congress. Sudhakaran got irked as Satheesan was late for the press conference. Without noticing that the mic and the cameras were on, Sudhakaran used profane words while expressing his frustration over Satheesan's delay in reaching the conference. The Opposition Leader was reacting to this.
"What happened at the press conference is merely something that is usually heard in a conversation between close friends. Even you would say the same thing in such a situation. He said it for you. It is said by a person who is waiting for someone who is late for the press conference. Doesn't one get upset while waiting for someone for a long time?" Satheesan asked.
"Since KC Venugopal was there, some matters related to the election were discussed. After that, I was late for the press conference as I had to attend another event. Sudhakaran said something that colleagues say while talking to each other. What lies beyond it?" he added.
