KOCHI: The Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) is likely to suspend the license of Suraj Venjaramoodu in the incident where a motorist sustained injuries after the actor’s over speeded car hit him. The RTO office in Ernakulam had issued a notice asking him to assert whether there is a reason not to suspend his license. However, the MVD is all set to take action against the actor after he ignored the notice thrice.
The motorist sustained injuries after hit by the car driven by the actor on the night of July 29 on the Thammanam-Karanakodam road. Sarath (31) of Manjeri in Malappuram sustained injuries on his right leg. The Palarivattam police took the case and handed it over to the motor vehicle department for further action.
The film ‘Driving License’ starring Suraj and Prithviraj in lead roles had gained a lot of attention. Suraj played the role of a motor vehicle inspector in the film.
