THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC President K Sudhakaran expressed his displeasure with the workers during the closing stage of the Samaragni Yatra organized by the Congress. Sudhakaran voiced his dissatisfaction when the workers left the stage after two speakers had delivered their speeches.

He remarked, "The event is being organized at great expense, and if there is no interest in listening to all the leaders speaking, then there is no need to organize such programs." Sudhakaran questioned how the venue, which was full at the beginning of the program, suddenly had empty chairs.

Opposition leader V D Satheesan intervened to address Sudhakaran's concerns. Satheesan pointed out that the workers had braved the intense heat to attend the conference, arriving as early as 3 o'clock. He emphasized that the president should not resent the workers for leaving after two leaders had spoken. Sudhakaran countered by stating that Prime Minister Modi's ambition to secure two-digit seats in Kerala is not going to happen.

Sudhakaran highlighted that despite Modi's ten-year tenure as Prime Minister, the BJP has failed to gain significant ground in Kerala compared to North India. He expressed confidence that the UDF would secure victory in all 20 seats in Kerala.
